The present invention relates to a downward combustion type wood burning boiler in which wood is burnt downward and a wood burning type power generator using the same. The downward combustion type wood burning boiler includes the following: a main body which has a door mounted at the front and an inner receiving space; a combustion chamber which is mounted at an upper part of the inside of the main body, which is filled with wood through the door and has an ignition hole mounted at one side of the chamber; an induction tube which is connected to a lower portion of the combustion chamber in such a way that flame inside the combustion chamber can move downward; a heat exchange chamber which is mounted below the combustion chamber to communicate with the induction tube and has heat exchange tubes mounted to cross the inside of the chamber from one side to the other side of the chamber at a predetermined angle, and in which heating water moving to the inside of the heat exchange tube exchanges heat by flame supplied from the combustion chamber; a discharge chamber which is mounted to communicate with one side of the heat exchange chamber, such that combustion gas which exchanged heat in the heat exchange chamber is discharged; an exhaust pipe which is connected to one side of the discharge chamber to be communicated and discharges combustion gas to the outside; and a water jacket part which is a receiving space formed among the wall surface of the main body, the combustion chamber and the heat exchange chamber and in which heating water is contained. The wood burning boiler according to the present invention is very high in heat exchange efficiency because the heat exchange tubes cross inside the heat exchange chamber and flame is directly supplied to the surface of the heat exchange tube, thereby enhancing heat exchange efficiency. Moreover, the wood burning boiler can be used as a small-sized power generator by rotating a turbine using the steam of heating water, so as to be used in various ways. |
