<p>The present invention relates to wireless communications and, more specifically, to a method for transmitting a synchronization channel and a cell search signal in a wireless communication system. In order to achieve this, according to the present invention, a terminal effectively searches for a cell on different frequencies in multi-layer cells supporting multiple carriers and, in order to distinguish cells, a synchronization channel and a cell search signal are provided. In order to optimize the power consumption of the terminal, according to a provided new method for transmitting a cell search, by transmitting information through a frequency used by the terminal to access by a base station with another frequency, the terminal can easily detect the existence of a surrounding cell, and determines whether to perform an additional cell search process. Also, the separation of cells and the efficiency of small cells can be improved by suggesting a cell ID pair of macro-small cells to clearly distinguish identification between cells by including inter-frequency measurement information in multi-layer cells. Furthermore, an uplink focused transmission frame for supporting multi-layer cells based on TDD is provided and a synchronization signal configuration method in a relevant frame is provided.</p> |
