摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a wireless communications system. The present invention relates to a wireless communications system which supports at least one of an SC-FDMA, an MC-FDMA, and an OFDMA. More specifically, the present invention relates to a reference signal transmission method in a wireless communications system. For this purpose, proposed is a method for selecting a reference signal in a downlink data region among common reference signals and assigning the selected reference signal to a downlink data scheduling channel for transmitting date. Furthermore, proposed is a method for selecting a portion of the common reference signals and redirecting the selected common reference signal to a demodulation reference signal, thereby reducing an overhead of the system and increasing data transmission capacity. In addition, proposed is a method for transmitting/receiving relevant information between a base station and a terminal so as to prevent a malfunction of a legacy terminal.</p>
