The present invention relates to an intra-prediction apparatus and an intra-prediction method comprising: a step of generating a prediction pixel by performing sinc interpolation filtering using at least four reference pixels containing two reference pixels adjacent to each other according to an intra-prediction direction; and a step of generating a residual signal using the generated prediction pixel. In the sinc interpolation filtering, sinc filtering is performed using coefficients of the N-tap calculated from a sync function to correspond to the number of the reference pixels.
