The present invention relates to a wireless communications, and more specifically, to a method for transmitting a synchronization channel and a cell search signal in a wireless communications system. For this purpose, a synchronization channel and a cell signal are so proposed that a terminal effectively searches cells in different frequencies in a multi-layer cell supporting multiple carriers and to distinguish the cells. A new cell search method is proposed in which a base station of the different frequencies transmits information through a frequency accessed by a terminal to optimize power consumption of the terminal, thereby allowing the terminal to easily grasp an existence of a peripheral cell and to determine whether to perform an additional cell search process. In addition, a cell ID pair between a macro cell and a small cell is proposed to clarity distinguish an inter-cell identification by including measurement information between frequencies in the multi-layer cell, thereby increasing an efficiency of the small cell and an inter-cell distinction. Furthermore, proposed are an uplink concentration transmission frame for supporting the multi-layer cell based on a TDD and a synchronization signal composition method in a relevant frame. |
