USE OF HUMAN SMALL LEUCINE-ZIPPER PROTEIN IN ADIPOGENESIS

摘要

The present invention relates to a use of a human small leucine-zipper protein in adipogenesis and, more specifically, a human small leucine-zipper protein which acts as a corepressor for PPARγ2 by combining with the PPARγ2 and inducing the formation of a HDAC3-PPARγ2 complex so as to negatively inhibit the transcription activity of the PPARγ2 and suppress adipogenesis, thereby being able to be used as a marker for treatment of diabetes and obesity and development of a new drug.
