Provided are a method for easily producing a modified silica film which has improved strength compared to an existing silica film, a coating liquid, and a modified silica film. For such, according to an aspect of the present invention, the method comprises the steps of producing a polysilazane solution; producing a reactive fluorine polymer solution; producing a coating liquid by mixing the polysilazane solution and reactive fluorine polymer solution; producing a coating layer by coating the coating liquid on a base material; removing a solvent for polysilazane and a fluorine solvent from the coating layer; and bonding a bonding group to polysilazane and simultaneously converting the polysilazane into silica. |
