The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for transmitting/receiving a wireless power, and more specifically, to an apparatus for transmitting/receiving a wireless power,which receives wireless power, charge a battery, and transmit the wireless power by using power of the charged battery, and a method for transmitting/receiving a wireless power. According to an aspect of the present invention, the apparatus for transmitting/receiving a wireless power comprises: an antenna which receives or transmits wireless power by using a magnetic field; a communications module which communicates with a wireless power reception device; a power reception module which receives the wireless power through the antenna; a battery which stores the wireless power received through the power reception module; a power transmission module which transmits the wireless power through the antenna by using the power stored in the battery; and a controller which receives a wireless power transmission request message from the wireless power reception device through the communications module, receives device information from the wireless power reception device through the communications module, determines whether to transmit the wireless power based on the device information, and transmits the wireless power to the wireless power reception device through the power transmission module according to the determination result. |
