<p>The present invention relates to a TV receiver for receiving broadcast signals of a plurality of channels which allows a user to watch television immediately without a frequency scan. The TV receiver for receiving broadcast signals of a plurality of channels comprises: a signal receiving unit for receiving broadcast signals from the outside; a tuner for selecting a specific channel from the broadcast signals received from the signal receiving unit; a channel decoding unit for restoring the channel selected by the tuner; a demultiplexer for separating the data restored by the channel decoding unit into audio data and video data; a speaker for outputting the audio data; a display unit for outputting the video data; a storage unit for storing the data on the channel; and a control unit for controlling the channel change, wherein the broadcast signals include a channel frequency information list, and the control unit changes a channel based on the channel frequency information list. According to the present invention, a separate scan process is not required even though a new TV is installed or a channel configuration is changed, and at the same time a user can watch TV stably without malfunction.</p> |
