The present invention relates to a method for extracting a color of a map capable of easily identifying a building number and a building according to a road name address and a map producing method using the same. It is difficult to grasp that a building number and a building are difficult to belong to any road name in a conventional map produced by using a road name address. Therefore, the present invention can provide a method for extracting a building number and a color of a building according to the road name address to be easily identified. The method comprises the steps of: arbitrarily determining a color number to be expressed according to the number of a ″number group″ of a building road name code (RN-CD) according to the road name address assigned with a building number of an odd number and an even number for each road section; dividing ″number″ of the building road name code (RN-CD) by the color number (N) determined in the first step to discard a ″quotient″ and finding ″values of the remainder number″ to be ″0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and N-1″; and dividing the ″number″ of the building road name code (RN-CD) by the color number (N) to designate each colors for each building road name code (RN-CD) according the resulted value of the remainder″. In addition, a map by which the building number and the building according to the road name address are easily identified can be rapidly and simply produced when the color extracting method is used. |
