PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel technique of a cancer therapy.SOLUTION: A screening method for a cancer therapy agent comprises following processes. Process 1: A process of culturing an iPS cell under presence of a culture component comprised in a culture medium of a cancer cell to induce a cell population comprising a heterogeneous cancer stem cell. Process 2: A process of acting a candidate substance of a cancer therapy agent on the cell population comprising the heterogeneous cancer stem cell to screening the cancer therapy agent effective in the cancer stem cell.
