<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel sheet for a can excellent in processability and surface roughing resistance and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: There is provided a steel sheet for a can consisting of, by mass%, C:0.010 to 0.050%, Si:0.03% or less, Mn:0.30% or less, P:0.02% or less, S:0.02% or less, Al:0.04% or less, N:0.004% or less, B:0.0010 to 0.0025% and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities as a component composition, having a ferrite average crystal grain size of 10.0μm. The steel sheet for the can contains a BN deposition having a grain size of 80 nm or more and an AIN deposition having the grain size of 50 nm or less, and the content of the BN deposition is preferably more than the content of the AIN deposition.</p> |
