<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and a fixing device that suppress the separation of images from sheets.SOLUTION: The present application discloses an image forming apparatus including a conveyance element conveying sheets, an image forming unit forming images on the sheet using liquid developer, and a fixing device fixing the images on the sheets. The fixing device includes a rubbing element rubbing the images on the sheets to fix the images in a non-heating manner. The liquid developer includes coloring particles for developing colors of the images, a carrier liquid having the coloring particles dispersed therein, and a polymer compound dissolved or swelled in the carrier liquid. The polymer compound covers the coloring particles on the sheet.</p> |
