A hub is connected to a shaft which includes a first lumen extending in an axial direction and capable of allowing inserting of a guide wire and a second lumen extending in parallel with the first lumen. The hub includes a holding unit which holds the shaft, a distribution path which communicates with the first lumen, and is capable of allowing inserting of the guide wire and distributing a predetermined fluid, and a branch path which communicates the second lumen with the distribution path, is capable of distributing the predetermined fluid, and blocks the insertion of the guide wire.

1. A hub which is connected to a shaft including a lumen in which a wire is capable of being inserted, and a cavity portion separately provided from the lumen, comprising:
a holding unit which holds the shaft; a distribution path which communicates with the lumen of the shaft held by the holding unit and is capable of allowing inserting of the wire and distributing a fluid; and a branch path which communicates the cavity portion of the shaft held by the holding unit with the distribution path, is capable of distributing the fluid, and blocks the insertion of the wire.
