The present invention concerns the use, to prevent or reduce the signs of skin ageing, of a polymeric composition which contains a polymer matrix and one or a plurality of mineral filler(s), uniformly dispersed in the polymer matrix, having properties of absorption and/or emission in the far infrared region ranging from 2 μm to 20 μm.
