摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus capable of collecting MRA images at an imaging portion including the heart and blood flow information based on the MRA images safely and with better time resolution and spatial resolution.SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes: an imaging data collection unit which collects a plurality of pieces of imaging data each corresponding to mutually different travelling periods of time of inflowing blood from an imaging region without contrast by changing a period of time BBTI from timing for applying a region selective excitation pulse discriminating blood flowing into the imaging region including cardiac muscle and displaying it, to timing for collecting the imaging data; a blood flow information generation unit which generates a plurality of pieces of blood flow image data each corresponding to mutually different travelling periods of time of the blood on the basis of the plurality of pieces of imaging data; and an analysis unit which performs analysis of the cardiac muscle on the basis of comparison among a plurality of pieces of blood flow image data with each other.
