PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for generating stress on a surface, and a method of testing the surface with the apparatus.SOLUTION: An apparatus comprises one or more service assemblies, and one or more cleaning assemblies. The service assembly (a) comprises: one or more means for applying dirt to a surface; one or more means for scuffing the surface; or one or more means for dragging testing material across the surface; or a combination thereof. The cleaning assembly (b) comprises: one or more scrubbers, or one or more burnishers; or a combination thereof. A method of testing a surface with the apparatus is also provided. |
