<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine ignition controller capable of suppressing a delay in propagation of a flame to an intake side in a case of generating a tumble flow in a combustion chamber.SOLUTION: Gas flowing into a combustion chamber 22 passes through regions around ignition plugs 24 and 26 toward an exhaust side. At this time, a flow velocity (plug position flow velocity v) of the gas flowing around the ignition plugs 24 and 26 indicates a high value in a direction of the exhaust side. The gas then collides on a cylinder liner 16, so that the plug position flow velocity v rapidly changes to a value in a direction of an intake side. In the present embodiment, the ignition plugs 24 and 26 are simultaneously ignited (ignition timing 1) at a crank angle CAbefore the plug position flow velocity v rapidly changes from the value in the direction of the exhaust side, and the ignition plug 24 is re-ignited (at ignition timing 2) at a crank angle CAafter the plug position flow velocity v changes to the value in the direction of the intake side.</p> |
