<p>The invention relates to a system and method for painting items, preferably, but not necessarily, made from glass, e.g. bottles, to which a coat of paint is applied, except on one or more selected surfaces which are covered with one or more covers and/or caps, in order to obtain a painted product having a number of unpainted surfaces or transparent windows for decorative effect. The system comprises the equipment necessary to carry out the painting process and also includes one or more covers specially adapted to the shape of the surface of the object to be protected from paint, such that, when positioned on the object, they cover the selected areas to prevent same from being painted during the painting process.</p> |
