PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an administrator or a user of an apparatus to skip time and effort to set the apparatus in advance to enable smooth operation of the apparatus.SOLUTION: There is provided a peripheral device (image forming apparatus unit) including an NFC-R/W11 connected with a NIC 106 or a WLAN 107 for connecting to a network or a USB host 109 for connecting by radio, and further including a CPU 102 that determines, when the peripheral device is accessed from an NFC-mounted mobile terminal by short-range radio communication via the NFC-R/W11, capability information added to association information held by an apparatus having a short-range radio communication function mounted thereon on the basis of the access, connection authority to the peripheral device on the basis of ACL authority information, or use authority of applications. |
