PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly measure a distance to an object within a monitoring area using a laser beam.SOLUTION: A projection optical system 91 includes an emission surface 91b which scatters a laser beam generated by a laser diode 92 to project the beam to a monitoring area, and which is provided with a plurality of curved convex lens portions d1 to d11 in a horizontal direction. This causes the lens portions d1 to d11 to respectively scatter the beams to a plurality of directions so that parallel beams are configured for the directions by the number of the lens portions d1 to d11. Therefore, even when a light-shielding region B is generated on the surface of a windshield 21 by dirt, a reduction in light intensity caused by a blind spot BS' can be suppressed since the beams in respective directions are converted in the parallel beams. The technique can be applied to a laser radar device.
|
