<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene resin composition suitable as a modifier for a resin which, even when the composition contains a relatively small amount of a high molecular weight component having a relatively narrow molecular weight distribution, shows excellent compatibility with a material to be modified, can highly disperse the high molecular weight component, and can highly modify physical properties of a molded article without degrading an appearance, and to provide a modifier for a resin comprising the above composition.SOLUTION: The polyethylene resin composition is obtained by multi-stage polymerization of the following component (A) and component (B) in this order, and satisfies specific characteristics (i) to (iv) relating to a density or the like. The component (A) is a polyethylene resin having a density (A) of 0.900 to 0.950 g/cmand a HLMFR(A) of 0.1 to 10 g/10 min; and the component (B) is a polyethylene resin having a density (B) of 0.900 to 0.970 g/cmand a HLMFR(B) of 0.5 to 100 g/10 min.</p> |
