PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface protective film which exhibits appropriate adhesion strength to an adherend and prevents blistering or peeling from an adherend even when the protective film is transported, stored or processed at a high temperature.SOLUTION: The surface protective film has an adhesive layer formed of an olefin copolymer (A) and a styrene elastomer (B). The olefin copolymer is a copolymer of propylene and at least one olefin selected from olefins having 4 to 20 carbon atoms, and shows a peak temperature of 5°C or higher for a tanδvalue (loss tangent) in the measurement of dynamic viscoelasticity at 10 Hz.
