<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preservation method for cut flowers which secures a long preservation time until delivery to consumers and suppresses decay and discoloration of leaves and stems of cut flowers flowering after unsealing from a sealed bag.SOLUTION: A preservation method for cut flowers includes a storing step of storing a cut flower in a budding period and before full bloom in a flexible deformable bag having light transmissivity, a sealing step of deaerating the inside of the bag to such an extent as to adhere the surface of the cut flower stored and the bag body together in a tight state and fix the posture of the cut flower with pressing and sealing the bag and a storage step of storing the sealed bag storing the cut flower in a chamber at low temperatures. During the storage step, the bag is irradiated with light to suppress drying and decay of the cut flower.</p> |
