The present invention concerns a cosmetic composition, comprising particles of a polymeric composition which contains a polymer matrix and one or a plurality of mineral filler(s), uniformly dispersed in the polymer matrix, having properties of absorption and/or emission in the far infrared region ranging from 2 μm to 20 μm, said particles of a polymeric composition being dispersed in a carrier fluid comprising water and/or one or a plurality of organic fluids. This composition is, in particular, intended to prevent or reduce the signs of skin ageing.
