The present invention refers to an attachment arrangement between a stator (2) of an electric motor and a block (1) of a fluid compressor, wherein the stator (2) comprises at least two segments (3), which are directly attached to the block (1) comprising at least one axial projection (11) by at least one fixing means (5). This attachment arrangement in accordance with the present invention thereby discloses a way of fixing a segmented stator of a fluid compressor while reducing vibrations intrinsic to the motor.
