<p>The embodiments of the present invention relate to a method for realizing roaming charging and a network element of a network. The method comprises: after a user equipment (UE) accesses a visited network, a network element of the visited network negotiating a charging mode with a network element of a home network of the UE; after the negotiation is successful, the network element of the visited network receiving charging rule information corresponding to the negotiated charging mode sent by the network element of the home network; and according to the charging rule information, the network element of the visited network collecting charging information for the UE, and sending the collected charging information to a charging system of the home network. The method for realizing roaming charging and the network element of a network can solve the problem that correct charging cannot be performed on the user equipment during roaming.</p> |
