A steerable stent delivery system, comprising:
a microcatheter having a distal end configured to be inserted into a blood vessel;
a core member extending within the microcatheter, and
a stent;
the core member having a distal portion and an intermediate portion proximal to the distal portion, the stent extending along the intermediate portion;
the core member being configured to be steerable by being rotatable relative to the stent and the microcatheter;
the distal portion of the core member comprising a distal cover that is rotatably coupled to the core member and at least partially surrounds a distal portion of the stent. |
