<p>The invention relates to measuring tools, and more particularly to balancing means. According to the claimed balancing method, a rotor is mounted on supports and spun, the vibrations are recorded, and the unbalance is determined and eliminated. Before rotation commences, reference balancing parameters, such as the mass of the rotor and the required balancing accuracy, are input into an automatic processing unit. On the basis of these reference parameters, a balancing regime is then selected, i.e.: below resonance, resonance or above resonance. Then, upon a command from the processing unit, the natural frequency of vibration-sensing resonators of the supports and the rotation rate of the rotor are set automatically in accordance with the selected regime. A universal rotor balancing device comprises a rotator, vibration sensors and at least two supports with vibration-sensing resonators. Each vibration-sensing resonator is designed so that the natural frequency thereof can be adjusted. Devices for adjusting the natural frequency of the vibration-sensing resonators are connected to the automatic processing unit. The invention makes it possible to extend the potential and increase the efficiency of the balancing process.</p> |
