PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable efficient compression coding of RAW data obtained from an imaging device, having a pixel array whose pixel positions alternately deviate in either the horizontal direction or the vertical direction in regard to at least one color among the three primary colors, and to enable decompression of the compression coded data.SOLUTION: Among the RAW data obtained from the imaging device having the pixel array whose pixel positions alternately deviate in either the horizontal direction or the vertical direction in regard to at least one color among the three primary colors, a camera unit 10 resolves the RAW data, having alternately deviating pixel positions, into sub-band images by sub-band division, in which only sub-band conversion in the horizontal direction is performed when mutually neighboring pixels in two upper and lower lines are scanned zigzag, without performing the sub-band conversion on the image data of the residual colors. Alternatively, the camera unit 10 resolves the RAW data into sub-band images by sub-band division, in which only sub-band conversion in the vertical direction is performed when mutually neighboring pixels in two right and left columns are scanned zigzag, without performing the sub-band conversion on the image data of the residual colors. |
