<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge head capable of reducing static build-up of ink droplets occurring in a period from discharge of the ink droplets, which fly a narrow distance between a nozzle plate where a discharge port is formed and a printed object, to application of the ink droplets.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge head includes: a substrate including an energy generating element which generates energy used for discharging a liquid; and a nozzle plate joined to the substrate. The nozzle plate includes: a discharge port which discharges the liquid as droplets; and an opening which jets a static erasing gas for electrically neutralizing the droplets.</p> |
