<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a binder for a lithium ion secondary battery negative electrode, with which high charge/discharge capacity can be obtained; a lithium ion secondary battery negative electrode manufactured using the binder; a method for manufacturing the negative electrode; and a lithium ion secondary battery using the negative electrode.SOLUTION: A binder for a lithium ion secondary battery negative electrode contains an emulsion including particles which contain a dispersant (A) and a dispersoid (B) and are dispersed in a water dispersion medium. The dispersant (A) is a polyvinyl alcohol based resin having a 1,2-diol structural unit at a side chain, and the dispersoid (B) is a polymer having a structural unit derived from a nitrile based monomer.</p> |
