The present invention refers to a cap (1) for a container (100), and a container (100) comprising such a cap (1). Such preferably substantially tubular or cylindrical containers (100) typically accommodate loosely stored, solid products, such as strips, pills, tablets or the like. The cap (1) comprises a lid body (10) with a top part (11) and a peripheral wall (12), and the lid body (10) comprises a sealing skirt (15) and an inner peripheral wall (17), which extend from top part (11) and form a peripheral groove (16) in between. Further, at least one projection portion (15a) for partially covering the peripheral groove (16) is integrally formed with the sealing skirt (15) and/or the inner peripheral wall (17). |
