<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless LAN system and a wireless communication device which can shorten a search time for searching for a base station other than the currently connected base station.SOLUTION: A wireless terminal 10a transmits a probe request message M10r to a non-connected base station 20c by switching the frequency from a first frequency to a second frequency to be used by the non-connected base station 20c. The non-connected base station 20c transmits a probe response message M11r to the wireless terminal 10a by using the second frequency. The non-connected base station 20c transmits a probe redundant response message M12 to a connected base station 20a by wire via a wire LAN. The connected base station 20a wirelessly transmits the probe redundant response message M12 to the wireless terminal 10a by using the first frequency.</p> |
