PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio signal processing device, an acoustic device, a method of controlling an audio signal processing device, and a program which implement stable power saving without auditorily influencing sound quality.SOLUTION: An audio signal processing section 12 includes: an analysis section 21 for analyzing an amplitude envelope of an audio signal; a selection section 22 for selecting one or more reduction processes from among a plurality of reduction processes with different approaches to deciding a reduction interval for reduction in an amplitude value of the audio signal on the basis of analysis results of the analysis section 21; and a reduction processing section 23 for executing the one or more reduction processes selected by the selection section 22.
