A liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate, a second substrate facing the first substrate, a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first and second substrates, a pixel electrode, a common electrode facing the pixel electrode, a plurality of first touch electrodes, and a plurality of second touch electrodes. Each first touch electrode includes a main body portion extending in a first direction and a plurality of branching portions extending from the main body portion in a second direction. The plurality of second touch electrodes cross the main body portion of each first touch electrode.

a first substrate; a second substrate facing the first substrate; a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate; a pixel electrode; a common electrode facing the pixel electrode; a plurality of first touch electrodes, wherein each first touch electrode comprises a main body portion extending in a first direction and a plurality of branching portions extending from the main body portion in a second direction, different from the first direction; and a plurality of second touch electrodes crossing the main body portion of each first touch electrode from among the plurality of first touch electrodes.
