A bucket (100) for screening and crushing inert material, comprising an outer casing (1), an inlet section (10) for the entry of the material to be crushed into the casing (1) and a crushing unit (3) arranged in the casing (1) for crushing the material, characterized in that it additionally comprises a screening device (2) for screening the material to be crushed, disposed in a position intermediate between the inlet aperture (10) and the crushing unit (3) and comprising at least one rotating member (20) wherein the rotation of said member (20) is suitable for carrying out screening of parts of material to be crushed which are of a size below a predetermined dimension, wherein said rotating member (20) comprises a plurality of extensions (21A) which extend in a radial direction, characterized in that said rotating member (20) performs an alternating rotation movement about an axis (Y) substantially perpendicular to a feed direction (A) for feeding the material towards the crushing unit (3) of a magnitude (a) which is less than a complete rotation of the rotating member (20).
