The present invention relates to wireless communication, and more particularly to a method for transmitting a synchronization channel and transmitting a cell search signal in a wireless communication system. To this end, the present invention proposes a synchronization channel and a cell search signal for allowing a terminal to effectively search for cells in different frequencies in a multi-layer cell supporting a multi-carrier and to distinguish between the cells. The present invention proposes a new cell search signal transmitting method in which, in order to optimize power consumption of the terminal, through a frequency which a terminal is accessing, a base station of another frequency transmits information, so that the terminal can easily detect the existence of neighboring cells and determine whether to perform an additional cell search process. Further, the present invention proposes a cell ID pair between a macro cell and a small cell to clearly distinguish between cell identifications including inter-frequency measurement information in the multi-layer cell, thereby facilitating distinguishing between cells and increasing the efficiency of the small cell. Furthermore, the present invention proposes an uplink centralized transmission frame for supporting the multi-layer cell on the basis of TDD and a synchronization signal configuration method within the corresponding frame. |
