PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a false color detection device and method for detecting false colors included in images.SOLUTION: A detection unit 111 determines whether or not color difference components of pixels 121a included in image data are included in a first rotating false color area 21c and a second rotating false color area 22c, and determines whether or not false colors are included in image data according to a result of the determination. In other words, with respect to a pixel 121a that may have a false color (possible false color pixel), when another false color possible pixel having a complementary color relationship with the false color possible pixel is present within a predetermined range from the false color possible pixel, the detection unit 111 determines that the false color possible pixel has a false color. |
