<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel alicyclic epoxy resin that provides a cured product with excellent heat resistance and optical characteristics.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an epoxy resin (3) that is obtained by oxidizing diolefin resin obtained by the reaction between alkyl siloxane having two Si-H bonds and dicyclopentadiene and/or methyl dicyclopentadiene. In the formula, Rs independently represent a 1-6C alkyl group, Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and (P) and (Q) bond to Si at * position.</p> |
