PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal complex pigment, excellent in photoelectric conversion efficiency durability, with improved workability when manufacturing a photoelectric conversion element, and to provide a photoelectric conversion element, a dye-sensitized solar cell, and a dye solution.SOLUTION: A photoreceptor layer containing an electrolyte of the photoelectric conversion element is a metal complex pigment represented by Formula (I), the metal complex pigment including at least a carboxylate group and a salt thereof, the salt being one of a K salt, a Li salt, and a Cs salt, and a ratio α that is a number of carboxylate group salts divided by a total number of the carboxylate groups and the salts thereof existing in one mol of the metal complex pigment being 0.1 to 0.9. The photoelectric conversion element includes a semiconductor fine particle in which the photoreceptor layer carries the metal complex pigment. |
