PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment type aluminum alloy having high strength, capable of preventing partially coarsening of crystal grain even when conduction cold plastic work with a reductio of area of 10 to 35% before a solid solution treatment such as a T6 treatment.SOLUTION: There is provided a heat treatment type aluminum alloy for cold plastic working containing Si:0.8 to 1.3 mass%, Cu:0.3 to 0.5 mass%, Mg:0.6 to 1.0 mass%, Mn:0.3 to 0.5 mass%, Cr:0.2 to 0.5 mass% and the balance Al with inevitable impurities, and having a ratio of contents of Mn and Cr of Mn/Cr≥0.5. |
