PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map image in which map request and map display are combined.SOLUTION: A page includes the map image, overlaid directional map control objects, overlaid zoom control objects, a location request text entry field, a search button, an information window, a location marker, a location marker shadow, and an information window shadow. At least one of the directional map control objects overlaid on the map image is displayed to increase an area within the display page available for the map image. A method of displaying the map image is changed on receiving a selection of at least one of the directional map control objects. At least one of the directional map control objects comprises a set of pan buttons. Each button of the set of pan buttons is labeled with an arrow. |
