PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device capable of implementing an off-state without provoking an increase in power consumption.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device includes a power element that is in an on-state in a state to which a voltage is not applied, a field-effect transistor for switching to apply a first voltage to a gate of the power element, and another field-effect transistor for switching to apply a voltage lower than the first voltage to the gate of the power element. The field-effect transistors for switching have a small off-current.
