The invention concerns a coupling element (3, 23) for an ultrasonic transducer (1, 21), which coupling element (3, 23) comprises a first recess (5, 25) provided for the arrangement of a piezoelectric element (2, 22) and comprising a terminal base surface (14, 34) in which an ultrasound signal generated by the piezoelectric element (2, 22) can be fed into the coupling element (3, 23), the coupling element comprising inside the recess (5, 25) one or a plurality of stops (7, 27, 8, 28), each of which comprises at least one stop face (7.1, 27.1, 8.1, 28.1) which extends along a plane, the plane extending parallel to the base surface (14, 34) of the first recess (5, 25), and there being defined between this plane and the base surface (14, 34) a space (6, 36) for accommodating material for an acoustic adaptation layer. The invention further concerns an ultrasonic transducer and an ultrasonic flow meter. |
