<p>In accordance with an example embodiment of the present invention, there is provided an apparatus, comprising at least one processor configured to determine whether a user equipment associated with a first identity is attached to a cell that is most preferable for participating in a device-to-device communication between at least two user equipments, the at least one processor being configured to, responsive to a determination the user equipment is not attached to a cell that is most preferable for participating in the device-to-device communication, initiate transferring the user equipment to a cell that is more preferable for participating in the device-to-device communication, and a transmitter that is caused by the at least one processor to send a message to initiate the transferring.</p> |
