PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a concave part (a dimple or the like) of a prescribed shape in a prescribed position of a surface of a hollow needle with precision and for manufacturing the hollow needle in a short time at a low cost.SOLUTION: In a method of forming a concave part of a hollow needle in which a concave part with dimensions and a shape that are set in advance is formed on an outer surface of a body, a die on which the body is placed, a punch having a tip end corresponding to the dimensions and the shape of the concave part to be formed on the body, and a pressing force imparting means which imparts pressing force to the punch are prepared. The concave part is formed by placing the body on the die to make the punch face the body, by bringing the tip end of the punch into contact with the body while guiding the tip end of the punch in the vicinity of the outer surface of the body, and by imparting the preset pressing force to the punch by the pressing force imparting means. |
