PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a fire to be early detected without causing any time delay by increasing the detecting sensitivity of CO gas when receiving a hot air flow.SOLUTION: A sensor 10 is configured by opening an opening hole 14 which has a leak prevention rib formed therearound on the surface of a cover 12 which receives a hot air flow, and arranging an electrochemistry type CO sensor 18 in the cover 12 behind the opening hole 14. Moreover, a water-repellent filter is mounted in contact with a detection surface so as to cover a gas intake port opened in a detection surface of the CO sensor 18, and the CO sensor 18 is arranged so that the gas intake port is opposed to the opening hole 14 and a water-repellent filter 24 is brought into contact with leak prevention rib and covers the opening hole 14. A fire is discriminated on the basis of a CO gas concentration detected by the CO sensor 18. |
