According to one embodiment, a system includes one or more processors operable to determine a premium amount associated with a generation of an annuity based on a pension plan. The processors are further operable to determine a first portion of the premium amount eligible for allocation to a separate account. The processors are further operable to determine a second portion of the premium amount for allocation to a general account. The processors are further operable to calculate a third portion of the premium amount eligible for allocation to the general account. The processors are further operable to calculate a subset of the first portion of the premium amount to be removed from the first portion of the premium amount, and communicate the subset of the first portion for display.
