PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric to which a functional group can be introduced to impart a further performance, especially, a functional group having an ion exchanging function can be introduced to produce a nonwoven fabric excellent in ion exchanging performance.SOLUTION: The nonwoven fabric contains ultra-fine fibers with an average fiber diameter of 2 μm or less, which are composed mainly of a copolymer comprising a monomer having an acid anhydride group as a copolymerization component, and are cross-linked with a compound containing a hydroxy group. It is preferable that the copolymer is a maleic anhydride-based copolymer. |
